Welcome to the web-site of the Institute of Applied Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova!

The Institute of Applied Physics, founded in 1964, is a state run institution of science and innovation, its organizational and legal form - a public institution.

The Institute is founded by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova belonging to its Section of Exact and Economic Sciences.

The main objectives of the Institute are carrying out research in fundamental and applied physics and introducing the results obtained into the national economy.
